Every figure links to where it came from. Attendance for an event that has not happened is a projection, and each row says so rather than presenting it as a count.

What is TOKEN2049 Singapore?
TOKEN2049 Singapore is the anchor of Asia's crypto calendar. The conference itself runs two days at Marina Bay Sands, but the reason people fly in is the week built around it: several hundred side events, dinners and parties across the island, most of them free to attend and most of them announced late. Treating the two days as the whole thing is the most common way to waste the trip.
Who goes to TOKEN2049 Singapore?
Founders raising, funds deploying, exchanges and infrastructure companies selling, and a large contingent who come purely for the side programme. The organiser puts C-level participation around 60 per cent, which is unusually high for a conference of this size and is the honest reason the ticket prices hold. If you are looking for developers rather than decision makers, the builder-heavy events are a better use of the budget.
TOKEN2049 Singapore side events
The two conference days are not the week. TOKEN2049's own site now publishes a 1,000-plus side-event figure for the week of 5 to 11 October, and After2049 is listed for 9 October. The official week page and a public side-event sheet sit at week.token2049.com. Most of the useful nights are still not on that sheet. They appear on Luma calendars tagged TOKEN2049 Singapore, in Telegram groups, and as private links sent a few days out. Search TOKEN2049 side event and you will find three or four competing calendars. Treat the official sheet as the floor, not the list. The good dinners fill before they are public.
TOKEN2049 Singapore tickets and costs
Tickets are tiered and rise as the event approaches, so the cost of deciding late is real and measurable. Marina Bay Sands hotel inventory goes early and prices roughly double across the week, so accommodation is usually the larger line item. Booking outside the Marina Bay area and using the MRT is the standard way to halve that, and Singapore is one of the few cities where doing so costs you almost nothing in travel time.
- Happy Bird, full conference access$499
Stages and sessions, the networking app, the exhibition and daily networking drinks. Stepped up from the Super Early Bird tier in late July 2026 and rises again closer to the event. Limited availability at this price. TOKEN2049
- Special Access Pass$4,999
VIP credentials, exclusive receptions and lounges, after-party access and concierge. The tier that buys rooms the general pass does not open. TOKEN2049
Getting to Marina Bay Sands
Marina Bay Sands is on the Circle and Downtown lines at Bayfront MRT, which is the cheap and reliable way in during a week when the taxi queues are long. Changi to Marina Bay is about 25 minutes by car outside peak. The conference halls are in the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, which is a different building from the hotel towers and the mall, and the walk between them is longer than the map suggests.
Where to stay for TOKEN2049 Singapore
Marina Bay puts you inside the venue and prices accordingly during the week. Bugis, Clarke Quay and Tanjong Pagar are two to four MRT stops away, are where a large share of the side events actually happen, and cost a fraction of the Bay. Rooms across the whole island tighten for TOKEN2049 week. Book before the agenda is published, not after.
What to know before booking TOKEN2049 Singapore
The conference floor is not where the week is won. Line the side events up before you land. The second thing first-timers get wrong is scheduling back-to-back meetings inside the venue: Marina Bay Sands spans five floors and moving between them at peak takes longer than anyone budgets for.
What runs alongside TOKEN2049 Singapore
Named events on their own dates, and in several cases their own tickets. Booking the main days only is how people miss them.
- TOKEN2049 WeekAround 5 to 11 October 2026
The unofficial week of side events either side of the two conference days. Hundreds of independent parties, breakfasts, summits and dinners run by funds, exchanges and protocols. Not organised by TOKEN2049 and not organised by Aspire.
TOKEN2049 Singapore: common questions
How much are TOKEN2049 Singapore tickets?
The Happy Bird full conference pass is $499 and the Special Access VIP pass is $4,999. Happy Bird stepped up from the Super Early Bird tier in late July 2026 and rises again closer to the event, with limited availability noted. Buy from token2049.com and nowhere else.
What is TOKEN2049 Week?
The unofficial week around the two conference days, roughly 5 to 11 October 2026. The organiser counted more than 1,000 side events around the 2025 Singapore edition, hosted by funds, exchanges and protocols rather than by TOKEN2049. Many people work the week without ever buying a conference pass.
Are the side events free?
Most are free but gated. Hosts run their own guest lists on Luma or by invitation, and the useful ones close days before the week starts. There is no single official list, and no pass to the conference gets you into them. Apply early rather than turning up.
Where should I stay for TOKEN2049?
Marina Bay is inside the venue and priced for it. Bugis, Clarke Quay and Tanjong Pagar are two to four MRT stops out, cost far less, and sit closer to where most side events actually happen. Book well before the agenda drops; the whole island tightens that week.
Do I need a visa to enter Singapore?
Many nationalities enter Singapore visa-free for short stays and others do not, so check the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority against your own passport rather than against advice from somebody with a different one. Everyone, visa-free or not, must file an SG Arrival Card before landing.
Is TOKEN2049 worth it?
It depends entirely on whether you arrive with meetings booked. The stage programme is streamed and recorded. What cannot be replicated remotely is that most of the industry is on one small island for one week, which is worth a great deal if your diary is full and very little if it is not.
How is Singapore different from TOKEN2049 Dubai?
Same organiser, different rooms: Singapore skews to Asian capital and exchanges, Dubai to Gulf and European money. Singapore drew 25,000-plus in 2025 and Dubai 15,000, up 50 per cent year on year. Note that TOKEN2049 Dubai 2026 was postponed to April 2027, citing regional uncertainty affecting safety, travel and logistics.
How do I get to Marina Bay Sands?
Bayfront MRT on the Circle and Downtown lines drops you at the venue, and during conference week it beats a taxi comfortably. Changi to Marina Bay is roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak. The conference is in the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, not the hotel towers.
Our own event that week
We run Grand Night Singapore during the same week. It is our own event, not affiliated with or endorsed by TOKEN2049, and registration is free with no payment taken on this site.
